A scan finds the tool

Scan an existing approved alias or its ToolCustody identity to select the exact tool. Similar descriptions and manufacturer serials do not merge two physical assets. Choose the borrower and approved task before checking the issue.

A handover changes custody

A lookup or a passing check is not an issue. The operator confirms the real handover. The resulting loan records the tool, borrower, task, intended use and due-back time, with one current operational borrower for that asset.

Try the complete loop

In a guided demonstration, issue a fictional fixture, return it, review its condition and record its restow. Then repeat the return with damage and see why a new issue is stopped. For your trial, agree one crib and verify its opening custody first.
