ToolCustodyby SmartFACT

TOOLCUSTODY · INVITED TRIAL

Keep shared fixtures ready for their approved tasks

Find which fixture is available, check it against the task and keep its borrower, condition and return history together.

Approved alternatives, not guesswork

Record the tasks a fixture supports and the alternatives your team has explicitly approved. ToolCustody applies those references to the selected task and current tool state. It does not infer engineering equivalence from a name or description.

Know whether it is back or ready

Returned, reviewed and put away describe different events. Record each step so a fixture in a review area is not offered as a ready fixture in its crib. Damage and holds remain visible until authorised review resolves them.

Use the history to follow up

See recorded loans, returns and interventions together. A supervisor can record a physical spot check and investigate a missing or disputed fixture. The record reflects observed actions; it is not live location tracking.

Trials are by invitation and start with one agreed workflow. Scope and arrangements are agreed with you before access.

INVITED TRIAL

Which tools are hardest to keep track of?

Tell us what your team shares and how issue and return work today. We arrange a demonstration and discuss whether an invited trial for one crib fits your process.
